Schools and universities

Bring astronomy into your learning community.

LAS works with educational institutions to plan age-appropriate talks, introductory workshops, citizen-science pathways and special events.

Request a school conversation

School visit

An introductory astronomy session tailored to the learner group, time and available facilities.

Science club pathway

Ongoing engagement around astronomy learning, projects and wider STEM opportunities.

Joint event

Co-designed public talks, classroom activities or practical training with clear responsibilities.

For organizations

Support that produces visible, practical access.

LAS welcomes support in equipment, venues, internet access, learning materials, transport, communications, technical expertise and responsible program funding.

Every collaboration should begin with a defined goal, realistic responsibilities and accurate public recognition. LAS does not display an organization as a partner before the relationship is confirmed.

Discuss a partnership

What happens next

A simpler, more transparent way to take part.

  1. 1

    Send your interest

Tell LAS who you are and the pathway that interests you.

  2. 2

    Have a short conversation

A team member confirms expectations, availability and the most suitable next step.

  3. 3

    Begin with a real activity

Join an orientation, project, planning task or school conversation—depending on the pathway.

LAS membership uses a separate account, application, introductory assessment, interview and manual approval process. The portal does not collect payments or issue automatic membership approval.
